Mourner at the shore

A woman shadow
at the shore of the lake
Dressed in a black robe
You can’t see her face

One million tears she cried
but it can’t relieve her pain
Weeps in the midnight silence
whispering their names

Under the moonlight
She stands by the lake
and stares at the waters
Where her dead children rest

The faces of the children
are shown on the surface
screaming underwater
they can’t reach for her hand

Drowned
before her eyes

The evil made her do it
but it’s too late to repent

The cries of the kids
Their desperate hands...

She tried to save them
Now it’s too late


To mourn forever
her soul is condemned
to haunt every midnight
and stand by the lake
